1. Seller and contact
1.1 Sales of the digital edition are processed by Stripe and appear there under the name Link. Stripe acts as merchant of record and therefore as the seller towards customers, issues the receipt and remits value added tax.
1.2 Send enquiries about returns and refunds to books@paolostolfo.com or directly to Link support via the link in your receipt. Both routes lead to the same result; the first address usually gets you a faster reply.
2. Period
2.1 Within 14 days of purchase, the purchase price is refunded in full without any need to give reasons.
2.2 This commitment is voluntary and applies regardless of whether a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content exists in your country of residence. Statutory rights — in particular the right of withdrawal towards the seller and claims for defects — remain unaffected.
3. Process
3.1 To process a request, the transaction number from your receipt or the email address used for the purchase is sufficient. No justification is required.
3.2 The refund is issued to the same payment method. Depending on the provider, the credit appears within a few working days. Confirmation is sent by Link.
3.3 On refund, access to the download page ends. Files already downloaded must be deleted.
4. If something does not work
4.1 If the file does not arrive, the link will not open or a file is faulty, write to books@paolostolfo.com. You will receive the files by another route without delay.
4.2 If the problem cannot be resolved, the purchase price is refunded — including after the period under section 2 has ended.
5. Limits of this commitment
5.1 The commitment under section 2.1 does not apply in cases of evident abuse, in particular repeated purchase and return of the same title, or passing the files on to third parties. Statutory rights and decisions taken by the seller remain unaffected.
